چکیده

Abstract Due to significant industrialization, many countries have adopted the practice of industrial symbiosis, which involves utilizing waste produced by one industry as a resource for another industry. The utilization spent foundry sand (SFS), is derived from metal casting industry, poses risk both environment and living organisms result existence inorganic organic substances. Nevertheless, this material can serve valuable construction sector. SFS significantly restricted due insufficient comprehension its concrete performance, despite extensive range applications. It imperative comprehend behavior in concrete, particularly relation achieving structure that strength-efficient durable. current study explores usability M-sand self-compacting concrete. Reference was replacing river with 100% M-sand. substituted ratios ranging 0 30%. Compared reference mix, SCC's mechanical durability properties 20% were better. In comparison SCC containing had higher characteristics at 3, 7, 28 days, respectively. With SFS, replacement showed better all curing ages performance days period.
